Jazz Ramsey has a challenging job, a family she adores, and volunteer work she’s passionate about. Jazz is a cadaver dog trainer and handler. She’s putting a dog through its paces when she discovers the body of a young woman, once a student at the school where Jazz works. Kylie Logan is a best selling mystery author with northeast Ohio roots and a penchant for plots with plenty of twists and turns. “The Scent of Murder” is her 58th published novel and the first in the Jazz Ramsey mystery series for St. Martin’s Minotaur. The book is set in Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood and tells the story of Jazz who trains and handles cadaver dogs. Kylie has also written the League of Literary Ladies Mysteries (set in Put-in-Bay) and the Ethnic Eats Mysteries (set in Hubbard, Ohio). As Casey Daniels, she writes the Pepper Martin Mysteries. Those books, lighthearted paranormal, are set in Cleveland and follow the adventures of a woman who works at a historic cemetery and solves mysteries for the ghosts there. Kylie lives in a Cleveland suburb with her husband and two dogs. She is a founding member of Northeast Ohio Sisters in Crime.
