The Thomas & Mace Double Duty Kalendar, contains some 100 short prosaic compositions reflective of life views as seen from the juvenile minds of 14-year-olds through to views as seasoned as they may have become by the age of 56. While the commentaries are not particularly philosophic or deep, they are spun with a humorously philosophical undertone reflective of the ever-changing attitudes of two people as they progress from boyhood to older manhood.

Penned during the period of time on earth from 1969 AD to 2004 AD, it presents a conference of man through the confluence of two men. It is at once juvenile, sophomoric and ultimately, periscopic. As a calendar, the Kalendar presents a collection of quirky conceptual “pieces”, that due to their order, could suggest to some readers a progression through time. There are also some dated passages in the text that might assist in this regard. It is highly possible that the older the reader, the more likely the Kalendar becomes a familiar history.

The Kalendar’s capability to entertain consists mainly in its ability to randomly explore that which many others might perceive as mere “mind noise.” Like a common cold, the Thomas & Mace Double Duty Kalendar is something that can be easily shared with a family member or with a friend.
