SAUTI SHA is a Cleveland-based, trans-African band led by songwriters Matiga Koba and Nehemiah Stark. SAUTI plays soul-filled songs to dance to, continuing the tradition of heroes Boubacar Traoré, Ali Farka Touré, Tinariwen, Fela Kuti, Fatoumata Diawara, and Lakota singers. Among many languages, Swahili and English harmonies soar on top of traditional hypnotic guitar styles and percussion.
