James McKeivier has been honing his songwriting for nearly two decades. Raised in the small town of Homeworth, Ohio, he spent years crisscrossing America, living out west for a time before settling back in the Cleveland area. Local troubadour, Bill Fox, who recorded McKeivier’s 2013 debut “Starry Skies of Home”, calls him a “philosopher songwriter”. He followed that record with 2016’s LP “The Lucky Ones”, which is available on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Both records are available through bandcamp. He is currently working on his third record “Hills & Dreams”, which will feature a full backing band. James has an eclectic style that blends Country and Folk through songs of love, loss and restlessness in the American expanse.
